Synchronicity 2008
From the 23rd to the 25th of October, IIT Kanpur will host it’s annual rock festival called ‘Synchronicity’, as part of the ‘Antaragni’ cultural festival held by the college. This year the organizers seem to loaded to the brimful by sponsors, as they are dishing out attractive prizes for the winners of the rock fest.
The winners would get one lakh in cash and also a record deal with Dogma Tone Records. There is something for coming in second and third too, as the runner-ups would get paid a decent amount too. Added to that there is something in it for individual members as well, as the organizers are also handing out prizes for the best guitarist, bassist, drummer and vocalist.
