Alice in Chains, one of the oldest grunge bands around today, is going to enter the studio in October to record their first studio album in over thirteen years. The band disbanded in 2002 after the death of the their original lead vocalist Layne Staley, and remained in hiatus for three years before regrouping in 2005.
Founder member, guitarist Jerry Cantrell is still at the fore end of the band, and is planning to release the untitled album sometime next year. The album would only be the band’s fourth studio album till date.
