Bo Diddley (30th Dec 1938- 2nd June 2008)
Rock n Roll legend Bo Diddley passed away in the wee hours of Monday morning. Bo had a career spanning 6 decades in which he played with Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, Little Richard amongst infinite others. His contributions to music were acknowledged by The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, The Grammies and the Rhythm and Blues Foundation to name a few.
A tireless workhorse he maintained a busy life as a musician. In fact he toured regularly until 2007 where serious illness chained him to the bed. A year of suffering ended with a final heart failure at Bo’s home.
