Cobain guitar rakes in bug bucks

A smashed Fender Mustang used by the late rocker Kurt Cobain was recently auctioned of for $ 1,00,000. The guitar was used by Kurt on his first American tour, and was damaged to the point that a duct tape was used to hold it together.

The guitar is one of the few items left belonging to the grunge artist, as former wife Courtney Love has already disposed of almost everything she could find. The sale would make the guitar the second highest bid for a Kurt Cobain belonging, seconded only by another guitar belonging to Kurt which was auctioned of for $1,31,000 in 2006.
