Indie Photo Exhibition by Shiv Ahuja

The A.W.E.S.O.M.E Shiv Ahuja will be hosting a photography exhibition at The Living Room Cafe, New Delhi on the 11th of December 2009 that runs all through January.

The exhib primarily features rock n roll photography- images that he’s taken on various occasions at concerts and festivals. Most of the performances covered comprise local acts from the capital with a couple of outstation artists.

Here’s what Shiv has to say about the exhibition:

“Over the past couple of years I have been working hard to try and

document the upcoming Indian Independent music scene.

I am very optimistic about the scene, and I really think we’re on to

something big. These bands are going to explode into the mainstream

soon. The back-end support to bands/musicians, lacking uptil now, is

picking up in a big way and there are several resources now to put

their music out there and be heard.

The pictures on display have been taken at several concerts/shows

around town and feature some of India’s Finest Acts.

With a hope that these pictures will raise some interest, and get you

to go out and listen to this fantastic music, I’d like to invite you

for a visit”
