American Pop legends, The Jacksons better known as The Jackson Five, announced yesterday that they running plans of initiating a reunion sometime next year. The announcement came from Jermaine Jackson, during a trip to Australia for some promotion work. Jermaine also spoke about the prospect of working on a new album, which would be the group’s first in 20 years, coming after 1989’s 2300 Jackson Street.
But, only a day later Michael the younger and more famous Jackson made a statement that he would not be part of the reunion as he would be busy in the studio, working on his new solo effort, also due in 2009. Well, all that can be said is that it would hardly be a reunion without the controversial superstar.
