Kip Winger, founder member of the 80’s rock band Winger, is going to release his fourth solo album ‘From The Moon To The Sun’, on the 28th of this month. The album will be his first solo release in over eight years, and will come as the follow up to 2000’s ‘Songs From The Ocean Floor’.
Kip rose to fame in the 80’s when Winger, started getting a lot of airplay and their music videos became a hit on MTV. Apart from his work with Winger, he been focusing on his solo career as well. Over the years he has made guest appearances on records by prominent artists, such as Bob Dylan, Twisted Sister and Alice Cooper. Of late he has also added vocals to some of Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess’s solo works.
