Formed in 1982, Laaz Rockit were amongst the first Thrash bands to rise from California. After the successful 80s the band fell apart in the early 90s when the popularity of the genre faded away. The group had been inactive since than until a couple years ago they regrouped to play some gigs for old times sake, and with no intention of getting back to playing as serious musicians. But, the gigs were met with overwhelming response, and motivated the band to regroup and work on a new album.
The end result is ‘Left For Dead’, the band’s long due album, which will come after the last album way back in 1992 ‘Taste In Rebellion’, which was a live album. The album will feature the band’s original line-up baring drummer Victor Agnello, who was replaced in the 80s. In his place will be new drummer Sky Harris. The album was due to be released in June this year, but was delayed in production. The new and final date for the release is the 4th of November.

Great stuff.Remember hearing lots of their stuff and even a video or two…. They had a cleaner sound to their thrash metal , as compared to bands of the same genre
