Led Zep to tour without Plant

Led Zep to tour without PlantAbout a month back Robert Plant had caused huge a disappointment amongst hardcore Led Zeppelin fans when he made a statement, that if there was Led Zep tour, he would have no part of it. Rumours of the Led Zep tour have been going around since last year, when the band played a reunion gig at the London O2 Arena.

In recent news, bassist John Paul Jones confirmed that the tour would be going ahead with a new singer, and in fact the search for a new vocalist was on. The band has been on trying out a fair share of likely candidates and are hopeful of finding the perfect match pretty soon.

Myles Kennedy(singer of Alter Bridge) is being touted as the replacement. He is frikin amazing, one of the best modern day rock vocalists. If you’ll think he’ll screw it up check out Alter bridge’s rendition of Kashmir on you-tube. He’d be a good bet to tour with Led Zep . Jimmy Paige himself is a keen admirer of Myles
