At the recently concluded Marshall Classic Rock Roll of Honours Award, rock stars of the yesteryears were given a long salute for their contributions to music. The Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne was awarded the ‘Living Legend’ award, while iconic guitarist Slash was awarded the ‘11’ guitar for his unquestionable dedication to Hard Rock music.
David Coverdale’s Whitesnake were awarded the best album for their latest release ‘Good to be bad’, while guitarist Jeff Beck was honoured for his outstanding contributions. The Foo Fighters were awarded the band of the years award, and Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac) went home with the Classic songwriter award. Kiss wild man Paul Stanley was not left out, as he was the Showman award.
