Queensryche new album named

Progressive metal pioneers Queensryche have put a name to their twelfth studio album till date - “American Soldier”. The album is a concept album, with the subject matter of american wars ranging from the second world war to the ongoing war in Iraq. The album is narrated from a soldier’s point of view.

Queensryche have mastered the art of a concept album, two of which have become metal masterpieces Operation Mindcrime part 1 and 2. The new album is due for 2009 release.
