Satch accuses Coldplay of Plagiarism.

Guitar God Joe Satriani has sued alternative rock band Coldplay over plagiarism issues. Satch has stated that the band have ripped of  large chunks of his 2004 song “If I Could Fly” on the title song of the band’s latest album “Viva La Vida”. Satrian’s song appeared on his tenth studio album “Is There Love In Space”, a good four years prior to the Coldplay album.

Joe has requested for a jury trial, and is claiming the relevant remuneration concerned with copyright infringement. The 52 year old guitarist is currently part of the supergroup starring Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony.
