The Hellborg and Selva treat

Bassist Jonas Hellborg and percussionist V. Selvaganesh will kick of a spree of concerts starting today in Mumbai, at the Blue Frog Club. Jonas is a world renowned jazz musician, while Selvaganesh, the son of the legendary ‘Vikku’ Vinayakram is an excellent Kanjira  player, who has gained fame and recognition playing for the fusion group Remember Shakti.

This will not the be the first time the two musicians have come together, as they have collaborated before in various fusion groups. The duo will play four back to back shows across India. They head to Bangalore, and than to Chandigarh to play on the 22nd and 23rd respectively, before they play their final show in Delhi on the 24th.
