This is the part where we go gigging at the next level! Literally.
The first of it’s kind; The Ladakh Confluence is a four-day music festival up in the mountains! The theme this year is percussion and while there aren’t too many Indian percussionists, the line-up looks F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S
Here’s what you can see if you plan a trip around the 28th-31st of August:
> TALVIN SINGH (UK)
> BAUCHKLANG (Austria)
> TERRAKOTA (Portugal)
> RAHUL SHARMA (India)
> RODNEY BRANIGAN (UK)
> DAVIDE SWARUP (Amsterdam/Italy)
> ORTAL PELLEG (Israel)
> RAJASTHAN ROOTS (India)
> ROBERTO NARAIN (India)
> GATEWAYS (India)
> SOULMATE (India)
> SHAA’IR + FUNC (India)
> SUCHET MALHOTRA (India)
> ANNA VAN RIEL (New Zealand)
(Artists subject to change)
For tickets etc, check the next post!
Come. Together.

It’s such a shame I can’t be there, in my home town listening to music from some of the finest musicians around. Four-five years back a similar fest took place in Leh and that time also i was out of Leh for studies. Man the organisers should make sure that the festival take place in either June or July when there are maximum students, so that they can also experience some new form of music. Soulmate….i love you but i am sorry i can’t be there to trip on your music. But I am glad that people of Leh will experience pure bliss for four days…

artists subject to change?? what a scam??
how can you announce names of big artists and sell tickets when the artists themselves want to stay away from this unorganised so called festival .. i am not paying 5000 bucks to some so called organisers. who are in fact ruining the beauty of the most beutiful place on earth.
