Mumbaikars are credited as being tough nuts to crack, and from what it seems the spirit of Mumbai has rubbed of on Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson. The Tull vocalist and flutist has continued to play his India shows with sitarist Anoushka Shankar as per schedule. In addition, the show that was to take place in Mumbai on the 29th of last month and was later put on halt for obvious reasons, will take place on friday, the 5th of december. The venue for the show is still the Shanmukhananda hall in Sion and will take start at 7 pm.
Recently the England cricket tour of India was disrupted due to the crisis going on in South Mumbai. It was quite dissapointing to see the British players fleeing from the sub continent like flies. In such trying times, Ian’s positive atitude and zeal to perform is really commendable as he has truly behaved in a professional manner.
