Chennai’s annual music competition hosted by the Unwind Centre; Underground 2008 is scheduled this weekend. This year, there is a change in the format - only original music will be judged. The competition is to be held on two days. Friday 19th September, where pop and hip-hop bands are to perform from 4 pm onwards and Saturday 20th September where rock and metal bands are to perform 10 am onwards. The last band standing will get their song aired exclusively on Chennai Live 108.4 FM for five weeks. Plus gift vouchers of Rs 25,000 are to be awarded for winners of various categories.
