Victor Wooten (of Bela Fleck and The Flecktones) and Prasanna are known world wide as major innovators on their respective instruments - bass and guitar. Between them they represent the best of 21st century music that brings in elements of Funk, Hip hop, Carnatic music, Jazz, Blues, Classical music, avant garde and everything else they feed on in a melting pot of contemporary music. With two of the most celebrated virtuoso Indian percussionists S. The Kolkata concert is to be held at G D Birla Sabhaghar. 7 PM onwards. There will also be a workshop with Victor Wooten conducted at the venue between 1:30 and 4 PM. Info and registration via: http://congosq.org/
