Okay could you tell us who is playing the bass for the new album? Chris Lollis is only stated as bass player for your live acts.
Dallas will be handling bass on the new record.
Is he going to be you permanent bass player?
Lollis? Nope. He was on his way to being offered the permanent position, until he fucked up and we had to fire Chris. We will be using a session player for the upcoming tours.
Then why did you not ask Joe Payne to be your permanent bass player?
Well, he also was on his way to being offered the permanent position, until he fucked up and we had to axe him. Bass Players! Why must they be such a headache?
Okay I won’t ask what did they do, but moving on. If there were ever to be a band considered to have a big influence on Nile, it would be?
Morbid Angel would have to be a very positive influence. They are the example of how to do Metal right. There are so many bands that would be an example of how NOT to play Death Metal. Oh my God. Don’t get me started about the legions of bands that suck. On the other hand, Morbid Angel is an example of strong musicianship, Brutality and Evil in a genuinely music and artistic expression. We would be dumb-asses NOT to learn a thing or two from Morbid Angel about playing Metal. Same thing with Cannibal Corpse. They have not lasted 20-something years at the top of the Death Metal heap by doing Metal half-assed. No, they are kicking ass because they know what the fuck they are doing and by being consistently 110 % brutal every show, night after night.
What’s your outlook on the current technical /brutal death metal scene?
My outlook? Give me Immolation and Krisiun anyway. Fuck all this modern poseur B.S.
Hell yeah!! Okay so what you guys listening to while you are replying to this?
George Kollias tracking his drums for the new record.
That’s absolutely wicked. So any plans of Nile playing in India after the next album come up?
You bet! Our management is working towards India, Thailand and China shows on the next Nile Tour when we cross the pacific this next time to do our usual Nile shows in Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
OMG!!! Finally Nile in India. Thank you guys for your time and all the very best for your next album. Do you want to end this by saying anything to our readers?
I would like to say hi to everyone in India who loves Metal – I hope to see you soon my friends!

Tch..Tch..Tch..how sad..they weren’t even interested in me…wah:(…damn i am such a dickhead ..i take interviews with people who are not even interested in me…
How sad..Metalhead…is your ”Metalhead” filled with a brain so tiny that its totally impossible to comprehend the fact that Gunter Ford who along with Erik Rutan over viewed the interview with Karl are those guys who believe in the fact that ”we give no-nonsense replies like mallcore bands” which you might happen to like…or is your ”Metalhead” filled with such humongous amount of dog poop that its difficult to understand that Karl has answered all those questions deemed sensible to a true metalhead properly showing clear signs of interest…

Or maybe you are not among those ”Elite People Who Comprehended The Interview Properly” as Karl would have said..
