Vai distorted

After his teacher Joe Satriani introduced the signature Saturator Pedal by Vox, guitarist Steve Vai has introduced his own dual Distortion pedal with Ibanez and it called the Jemini - partly because Vai’s a Gemini and he has his custom Jem guitars from Ibanez. Jem + Gemini = Jemini get it?

It has this funky psychedelic candy coloured body like some of his Jem guitars and has dual distortion built in, one for a cleaner sustain and the other for a a hot, fat “Bob Marley Joint” tone. Like Vai’s Guitars and his music, the pedal’s tone has a dirty visceral feel to it. Check out the very Vai Prom video on his homepage.
